25 bands, including The Rebel Regiment in exhibition, participated in the 35th Tournament of Bands at Byrnes High School on Saturday, October 1.
The weather was perfect and the performances were outstanding! Thank you to everyone who supported the nearly 2,500 students in these fine bands!
Congratulations to each of the bands on their performance, especially to our Grand Champions–Woodruff (Silver Division) and Pickens (Gold Division).
After much deliberation, the 2015 C. Phillip McIntyre Tournament of Bands has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
Significant flooding is now expected for our area. In addition, a State of Emergency has been declared by Governor Haley. We definitely do not want to put the safety of any students at risk.
We appreciate your understanding and certainly wish all bands the very best for the remainder of marching band season.
